Prescription aid for low-income seniors
HoosierRx is Indiana's Prescription Drug Program for low-income seniors. Any eligible senior enrolled in the HoosierRx program will receive assistance paying for their MedicareRx, Part D, prescription drug plan premium.
If interested, Area Five representatives will help seniors fill out a short, one-page application and send it to HoosierRx with proof of monthly income and a copy of the ‘Notice of Award’ or ‘Notice of Denial’ from Social Security. An application typically takes 4-6 weeks to process.
