The Area Five Agency Weatherization Program is currently seeking to fill position(s) for Shell Crew. The Area Five Agency Weatherization Program is currently seeking to fill the position for HVAC Mechanical Technician. This position will inspect, install, repair, test, adjust and balance heating and cooling systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to work in crawl spaces, attics, under mobile homes and climb ladders.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  A minimum of 3 years documented HVAC experience; Valid EPA refrigerant; High school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license are required.
